Students! We have an up coming Field Day! I hope you are as excited as I am. There will be several different activities you can try and find some new hobbies to enjoy. Bring a water bottle and wear clothes that you can run around and be outside in!



Physical Education 5th Grade Standard 1
Students will value physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self expression, and/or social interaction. Objective 1
Emphasize how physical activity provides an opportunity for enjoyment. Identify and participate in activities that are personally interesting and rewarding. Alright 6th graders! Here is your homework assignment. You will be using this near pod presentation to complete it. God through the presentation on the solar system. There will be a short quiz in the end. :) Enjoy

UEN core Standard 3: Sixth grade science.
Students will understand the relationship and attributes of objects in the solar system. Objective 1
Describe and compare the components of the solar system.
Identify the planets in the solar system by name and relative location from the sun.
Using references, compare the physical properties of the planets (e.g., size, solid or gaseous).
Use models and graphs that accurately depict scale to compare the size and distance between objects in the solar system.
Describe the characteristics of comets, asteroids, and meteors.
Research and report on the use of manmade satellites orbiting Earth and various planet

My newsletter is a "welcome back" newsletter to excited my new students about the year we have ahead of us in 5th grade. It gives examples of what will be happening in class and also gives information to the parents.

5th grade Utah Core Standard
This newsletter addresses several of the standards for 5th grade, that just gives a brief intro to what will be happening in the up coming 5th grade school year.

"EDEL 2200: (2) (Andrea Draudt) (Civil War Quiz Google Forms Project)"

5th graders! It's time for a short quiz. We have learned about the Civil War in class and in our homework. Now it is time to test what you have learned. This is a short simple quiz that will help me understand what you have learned in this unit. There is one question that asks or a short answer, a couple that are multiple choice and some that are mark all the correct answers.

Social Studies 5th Grade Standard 4
Students will understand that the 19th century was a time of incredible change for the United States, including geographic expansion, constitutional crisis, and economic growth. Objective 3: Evaluate the course of events of the Civil War and its impact both immediate and long-term.

Education Technology Standard Standard 8
Use technology resources (e.g., calculators, data collection probes, videos, educational software) for problem-solving, self-directed learning, and extended learning activities.

"EDEL 2200: (2) (Andrea Draudt) (Solar System Animoto Project)"

6th graders. I created these Animoto Presentations to get you excited on our Solar System Unit. These presentations show pictures form the planets, the moon, the sun and earth. They are all real pictures and I find them really amazing. I hope you do to.
